I started
painting in November of 2007 as a joke. My now ex-wife was fussing
because I didn't have a job after I got laid off. I took an on-line
career quiz that came back and said that I should be an artist. So, i
bought some paint, brushes and a pallet and painted a couple of things.
I showed them to some friends of mine and they wanted to buy them and
wanted more. Since then I have started displaying my art in
antique shops and other things. Most of my paintings are done on
plywood or tin or whatever else I can find cheap or free. I enjoy
my art and am always looking for new ideas.
I like to paint
what I want, when I want based on the mood I'm in, how I feel, and
whatever the material I'm working wants to be. I enjoy painting stuff
that is humorous, often with a bit of my twisted humor. On occasion
when I'm in the right mood I do more serious stuff.
All of my paintings are signed, dated and
individually numbered.
My art can be purchased at the Antique Griffin located on Taylor St in
Downtown Griffin, GA, Bald Ridge Folk Art Gallery in Cumming, GA or by
